Debbie has been part of the XL TechGroup team since 2006. With a background in life sciences, engineering and business, she concentrates on the systematic assessment of new disruptive business opportunities using XL TechGroup's proven methodology. Debbie also leads controlled environment testing for PetroAlgae in the areas of growth, lipid production and nutrition.
Debbie previously worked nearly 20 years for a science and engineering firm specializing in technology services for NASA and the Department of Defense. With her leadership, a new $30 million research facility was established at Kennedy Space Center to support NASA and State of Florida technology development and research. Working with international groups of researchers, Debbie developed and successfully completed over 30 diverse life science experiments aboard the Space Shuttle and International Space Station. Debbie also serves as Past President for Louisiana Tech University's College of Engineering and Science Foundation and as part of the Accreditation Committee for the Biomedical Engineering Society.
Debbie has a B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University and an MBA from the University of Florida.
