Roger provides leadership for technology development, intellectual property and general research and development activities at DxTech. He also represents the company to scientific and academic communities through publications, abstracts and clinical advisory groups. Roger spent a number of years teaching and performing research at Cornell University and Florida State University.
More recently, he has spent almost twenty years developing clinical diagnostic systems. As head of research at the MicroScan division of Baxter Healthcare Corporation, Roger was responsible for developing new instrument based diagnostics systems. As Vice President for Research and Development for North America for bioMerieux, he launched the next generation of fully automated clinical microbiology systems. Roger joined XL TechGroup in 2001 and has worked for both AgCert and TyraTech. For the last two years, he has been dedicated to research and development activities for DxTech.
Roger received his B.Sc. and Ph.D in Biochemistry from the University of Salford in the UK and has published 20 scientific articles and received 14 patents.
